validated by the Oath of a SWORN AFFIDAVIT by the Chairman Board of Directors OTUNBA LATEEF LAI OGUNGBADERO at the HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE IN THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY ABUJA (Ref: 613-6133) dated 8th October 2013 demanding redress for the abuse done to Messrs. BSM INT’NAL PETROLEUM REFINERY & PETROCHEMICALS LIMITED CONSORTIUM by Zamfara state Government of Nigeria to which no REJOINDER was communicated or Funds Remitted.

The undersigned on behalf of BSM Consortium hereby use this medium to channel our grievances to the World Leaders, International Business Community and Friends of Nigeria, to as a matter of urgency unite against this impious, self serving and politically motivated act of INJUSTICE.

Consequently, we advise the Federal Government of Nigeria to save Nigeria the embarrassment associated with a global outcry from an International disposition to which the forthcoming World Press Conference Tagged “UNVEILING THE POTENTIAL CHALLENGES AND RISKS OF INVESTING IN NIGERIA – THE BSM EXPERIENCE IN ZAMFARA STATE” seeks to depict.

We enjoin all our Sympathizers in Nigeria and Zamfara State in particular to remain resolute in condemning the gross act of political impunity and economic sabotage of our leaders evident in the malicious destruction of BSM Petroleum Refinery Heliport Complex next to the NNPC Depot Gusau and BSM Consortium Head Office Complex in Gusau, Zamfara State which has since deprived staff of numerous training opportunities thereby rendering them unemployed. Whilst thanking all our Partners across the globe for their immense support, patience and understanding at these difficult times.

The World Press Conference is to admonish the minds of International corporate organizations and potential investors in Nigeria to be guided without prejudice by the dilemma of BSM INT’NAL PETROLEUM REFINERY & PETROCHEMICALS LIMITED - an indigenous company with affiliations to Global Multinationals which facilitated economically viable initiatives and Integrated solutions;  tackling the deficit issues bedeviling the Northern region in 2009 under the purposeful leadership of the then Executive Governor of Zamfara State His Excellency ALHAJI MAHMUDA ALIYU SHINKAFI (DALLATUN ZAMFARA) who  on behalf of Zamfara State Government of Nigeria executed a Memorandum of Understanding/Agreement. This was duly ratified by the Zamfara State House of Assembly and Zamfara State Executive Council.  Consequently, this project was launched in a Ground Breaking Ceremony attended by His Excellency himself.

The Infrastructural Development and Economic Emancipation Initiative of BSM Consortium was intercepted and brought to an abrupt end by some selfish and unscrupulous miscreants who by way of ethnic, religious and political divides launched various attacks on the Chairman Board of Directors OTUNBA LATEEF LAI OGUNGBADERO ranging from failed kidnap to assassination attempts. These dastardly acts were ordered by the incumbent Executive Governor, in collaboration with Leaders who claim dominance to the region of the country, deciding who invests in it regardless of Due Process, good Practice of international standard, Morals and the provisions of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Constitution.

In conclusion, we wish to emphasize unequivocally that we are nonpolitical and operate across regions without prejudice to any association or institution. Therefore, the proposed World Press Conference is not intended to jeopardize the concerted efforts of this administration in encouraging Foreign Direct Investments in Nigeria. Rather, it is intended to serve as a caveat to investors by showcasing the inherent danger associated with investments of this nature in a country where the Government lack the concomitant protection for investors.

It is our hope that the government will look beyond International road shows, long speeches, warm handshakes etc. and have a RETHINK in the forthcoming World Press Conference.
THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

FOR AND ON BEHALF OF
BSM INT’NAL PETROLEUM REFINERY & PETROCHEMICALS LIMITED CONSORTIUM

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HAVE FOR NIGERIANS YET UNBORN?

Zamfara State Government of Nigeria executed Memorandum of Understanding/Agreement with BSM Int’nal Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited Consortium for the acquisition, development and establishment of a 200,000BPD BSM Petroleum Refinery and Hydrocarbon Park Complex Gusau and other integrated projects, including Power Plant, Mobile Fuel Stations, Exploration, Aviation, strategic training, management, maintenance, insurance, re-insurance and other services with its headquarters located in Zamfara State Northern Nigeria without recourse to state funds.

BSM Petroleum Refinery Heliport Complex Gusau Zamfara State

BSM Consortium’s well conceived initiative of these project under the previous administration of His Excellency Alhaji Mahmuda Shinkafi (Dallatun Zamfara) aimed at improving the socio-economic development of the region by ensuring a sustainable revolving supply of refined petroleum products to the remote and hard to reach areas, whilst also providing jobs, employment and training opportunities for the teeming skilled and unskilled youths which engaged their hands and minds, as it is said that an idle mind is the devil’s workshop, would no doubt, have helped in curbing the menace we experience in the region today, had the projects been sustained by the incumbent administration of His Excellency Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari. The irony of BSM Project and Investments in the state is the non-acceptance and outright disregard for due-process by the current Governor who has chosen to trade the future of the people, youth and old alike all for selfish, political and religious sentiments. This same Governor, who ordered the demolition of such vital and economically viable project in the state, was accused of acquiring a large cache of arms and ammunitions illegally without permit from the authorities, all in a selfish bid to equip his local militia also known as Boko Haram, who have now become a continuous source of threat to the people of Zamfara State, Northern Region and Nigeria in general.

THE QUESTION IS:

Does the Zamfara State Governor His Excellency Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari have the moral justification to destroy BSM Petroleum Refinery Heliport Complex Gusau which was duly commissioned by the previous administration on the acknowledgement of Mr. President?
Picture shows His Excellency Alhaji Mahmuda Shinkafi (Dallatun Zamfara) handing over the detailed feasibility study and conceptual design of 200,000BPD BSM Petroleum Refinery & Hydrocarbon Park Complex Gusau Zamfara State to Engr. Austen Oniwon the then GMD NNPC at the NNPC Towers, Abuja.

What is the Federal Government of Nigeria doing to checkmate the excesses of State Governors who feel they are not subject to or cannot be controlled by the Laws Governing the Federal Republic of Nigeria? What is the Federal Government of Nigeria doing to redress this gross act of injustice?

We need to cry out to the international community and world leaders to help us sanction this high handedness of our corrupt leaders by showing them the way true democracy is practiced in civilized countries.
Were this to be in civilized democracies, the Zamfara State Governor would have resigned by now, as power is supposed to be used to alleviate and not to oppress the people.
The National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria should rise up against this injustice and dictatorship leadership style of the Zamfara State Governor His Excellency Abdulaziz Yari, knowing full well this has the capability of jeopardizing intending investors from patronizing our country, as a result of the negative perception this portends for Nigeria.

THE TOP MANAGEMENT OF NNPC RECEIVES ZAMFARA STATE GOVERNMENT DETAILED FEASIBILITY STUDIES AND CONCEPTUAL DESIGN OF 200,000BPD BSM PETROLEUM AND HYDROCARBON PARK COMPLEX GUSAU

What are the youths of Zamfara and the entire youths of Nigeria doing about this?
Isn’t it high time we all stood up to fight against corruption and injustice that is gradually sweeping away the success and the brighter future of our generation and the generations yet un-born?

Together we stand, divided we fall!!!!!
